Technical Writer (With Itil And Uat)

Title: Technical writer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

QUALIFICATIONS

Consultant Qualifications The technical writer is required to have the following skills and experience:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Review project deliverables (documents) for: - organization of document is appropriate to subject matter - tone and level of complexity are suitable for audience, and - grammar and punctuation enhance readability and comprehension; and
• Excellent oral and written skills in English
• Identify audiences for documents and structure the documents appropriately;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience creating workflow or flow chart diagrams for an IT Enterprise Organization, knowledge of conducting user acceptance testing and working knowledge of information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) framework to ensure documentation aligns with our enterprise key goals to streamline IT service processes. 7
• Ability to attend working sessions during business hours (PST) (between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00) using MS Teams and or in person to gather information and conduct interviews;
• Interview subject matter experts, analyst(s), technical engineers, developers, business analysts, project managers and any other resources for input to scope and organization of materials;
• Perform copy edit on requested documentation

In addition to the skills and experience set out above, the Proponents should demonstrate that the proposed Consultant(s) have the following additional skills and experience: • Diploma in the computer science field; or

Certification in the computer science field; or

• Experience or certification in ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Preference may be given to those with one (1) or more of the following:
• Experience working with Service Now (ITSM Software Solution)
• 2 or more years of related work experience; or
