Type of Employment: Contract

Term: 12 months, possible extensions.

Location: Hybrid/ Montreal, Quebec

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all channels and providing high-quality, accurate, and timely translations from English to French. You will also play a key role in resolving linguistic challenges by offering language and terminology solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to creative review and approvals, translating diverse materials such as radio and TV scripts, advertisements, web content, social media, legal documents, and press releases. Managing projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively, you will build and maintain relationships with internal teams, providing expert advice on language and translation. As part of your responsibilities, you will suggest adaptation solutions for creative marketing copy and contribute to enriching and standardizing in-house terminology.

How You’ll Succeed:

• Support internal teams by providing expert advice on language, translation and terminology.
• Contribute to enriching and standardizing in-house terminology.
• Provide channels with language and terminology solutions, resolving any linguistic challenges.
• Translate a wide variety of materials such as radio and television scripts, mass advertisements, web and digital copy, social media, in-store marketing materials, legal, base and channel communications and press releases.
• Supporting all channels and providing quality, accurate and timely translations (from English to French).
• Suggest adaptation solutions for creative marketing and advertising copy.
• Contribute to creative review and approvals.
• Manage projects, priorities and deadlines, build and maintain ongoing relationships with internal teams.

Must Have Requirement:

• 5+ years experiences in translation required, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• A degree or equivalent post-secondary education with a focus in translation strongly preferred.
• Learn quickly and are able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Fully bilingual (French/English) required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Possess strong organizational and project management skills.
• Able to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
