Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in the Toronto area, working in hours that align with ET.

The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for leading all financial aspects of the company. This includes overseeing accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and internal audit functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a global financial operations of a technology services company and will have a deep understanding of the industry.

What You'll Do:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing insight and guidance to senior management on financial performance
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash management and capital raising activities
• Oversee the internal audit function, ensuring that the company's internal controls are effective and efficient
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives
• Balance sheet management including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and optimizing receivables both near term and longer term
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulators
• Manage the company's accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Manage the tax function, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

What You'll Need:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience supporting lenders and investors and with putting together and dealing with a bank consortium
• International experience in the technology services or consulting industry is strongly preferred
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand complex financial concepts and communicate them effectively to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that support business objectives
• Acquisition integration experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• High level of integrity and ethical standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
• Experience managing cash collections
• At least 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 8 years in a leadership role
• Experience with creating and reviewing reporting package for boards
• Budget planning experience, including forward looking projections
