Our client is a leading private equity firm seeking a deal origination professional in technology, cybersecurity, and cloud computing as a subject matter expert.

Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Cybersecurity & Cloud Computing Deal Origination is accountable for the retention, profitability, sales and growth of the cybersecurity and cloud computing practice.

What will you do?

• Develop strong relationships with new cybersecurity and cloud computing firms.

• Grow our sales funnel with prospects, due diligence stage, and finalist presentations.

• Build strong relationships with the Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing Consultant community and partners.

• Deliver results for our financial targets.

• Specific responsibilities include plan sponsor and Consultant relationship management, client satisfaction and retention, new business development, client growth, net sales, and profitability.

• Collaborate with leadership and peers to create, implement and monitor processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Represent Business Development at internal and external functions including social and business events.

• An in-depth understanding of group benefits products, services, and processes.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in deal origination, sales, technology consulting, private equity or investment banking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

Additional Information:

• The position is in the Greater Toronto area and can be in a hybrid work environment when you're on the road for sales meetings.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
