Overview Of The Role

Producers assist L&D facilitators during Virtual training by controlling virtual tools during learning workshops to allow the facilitator to concentrate on guiding the participants in the lesson content and discussions.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• They arrive to the sessions with enough time to align and prepare for the session with the facilitator
• They provide detailed instructions to participants on using available tools and can troubleshoot technical issues that may arise.
• The Virtual Producer contributes to the overall success of virtual events from a technical standpoint.
• They are there to support the facilitator, participants, and the technology.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a reliable internet connection
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to manage stress and perform under pressure
• Able to work a variety of hours – Morning, Afternoon or evening
• Have reliable PC set up with more than 1 monitor.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common issues and assist presenters and participants in working through technical challenges
• An interest in a Learning and Development or Human Resource Career is an asset
• Proficiency in navigating virtual delivery platforms to manage content and interactive activities
• Ability to provide best practice guidance to users

As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders Globally. French and/or Spanish is an asset.
