Technical Writer - Senior

Senior Technical Writer On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Technical Writer.
Senior Technical Writer –

• The role is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
• This position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to come into the office 2-3 days a week
• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical content in an engineering, IT, or technical environment
• The Technical Writer - Senior will also be tasked with creating monitoring and evaluation measurements for current and future communications strategies, activities, and approaches
• They will be responsible for planning, researching, designing, and developing content and messaging to support the PSRN project
• The Technical Writer - Senior will work with the project team to ensure successful business adoptions is achieved for the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) project

Senior Technical Writer – Mandatory Skills

• The candidate should also have experience with tools/software for composing comprehensive documents and presentation materials using MS-Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Framework, or Adobe Acrobat
• Other desktop publishing software experience would be beneficial
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Creator, Communications, or Issues Management or similar role
• They must demonstrate experience creating content in an engineering, IT, or technical environment

Senior Technical Writer – Preferred Skills

• Desired skills include the ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation targeting a wide range of audience
• Knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles and practices to contribute to material content for the program is also desired
• The candidate should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, facilitation skills, and stakeholder management skills
