Technical Designer, Racing Jobs

We are looking for a mechanical designer for our competition engineering team, who will report to the head of the competition department. You will have a major impact in the design, development and validation of various mechanical systems of our Can-Am and Ski-Doo competition vehicles.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Perform complete modeling of parts and technical drawings (GD&T) during vehicle development from the prototype phase to production.
• Collaborate with different suppliers and teams in design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers in the design and production of new parts, systems and vehicles;
• Actively participate in the configuration of vehicle content;
• Support the workshop for the assembly, diagnosis and validation of prototype vehicles;

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• You have a DEC or a BAC in mechanical engineering or relevant design experience;
• You like to find creative solutions to the problems you encounter & you are recognized for your ingenuity;
• Do you have other skills? Tell us what makes you unique and would make you a good addition to the team.
• You are determined to complete challenges as a team.
• You have a keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization;
• You know how to use software like Catia V5.
• You are comfortable with changes of plans and reversals of situation.
