Electrical Technical Designer Jobs

We are currently looking for an Electrical Technical Designer to join the engineering team at our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC location.
The ideal candidate is autonomous, able to pay close attention to details. He has effective communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills. He can work alone or with a team and has both theoretical and practical technical expertise.
The main responsibilities of the position:

• Inspection of control panels.
• Produce the bills of material from the I/O list.
• Design and layout of control panels, network architecture (PLC and HMI).
• Verification of electrical drawings.
• Participating in project meetings.
• Technical support to customers.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience with EPLAN / AUTOCAD, ERP and Microsoft Office suite (Excel) is an asset.
• Experience in electrical design.
• Experience with drawing/material list for PLC & HMI Allen-Bradley and industrial networks.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
