Role Description And Expectations
As a Digital Studio Production Proofreader at Klick, you will be responsible for proofreading and ensuring the accuracy of various digital design projects including email, websites, banners, and other digital projects.
Within the Studio team, you will collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, UX, Developers, CRM Operations and the Science Regulatory team to deliver error-free digital files. For this position, the ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong grammar and spelling skills, and an understanding of design principles and digital production.
Key Accountabilities

• Providing visual QA on updated and net new files, looking for readability, line breaks, and brand standards, along with checking for alignment, padding, resolution, font size/colour, tracking/kerning/leading, and other visual irregularities
• Ensure accuracy of all digital files, checking for spelling and grammar errors, typos, consistency in formatting and design elements, and compliance with brand guidelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the proofreading and production process
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status, timelines, and completion
• Collaborate with the Creative and Science Regulatory teams to ensure that all digital projects meet regulatory and compliance standards
• Work closely with Studio Artists and Designers to ensure files are correctly formatted and meet design and production standards
• Copy editing internal marketing documents such as POVs, newsletters, marketing messaging
• (event emails/promo, signage, etc.), corporate biographies, etc.
• Reviewing and editing copy decks/manuscripts for readability, grammar, tone, punctuation, consistency, and adherence to brand standards

Qualifications & Requirements
Soft Skills

• You are able to work well under pressure and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Hard Skills
• Strong proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
• You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering error-free digital files
• You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with team members
• Knowledge of HTML development and code-level version control is a major asset
• Excellent grammar and spelling skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma is an asset
• Understanding of design principles and digital production

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field is an asset
• Equivalent work experience in related field is an asset

Experience

• Have at least 2+ years total experience spent working closely with creative agencies
