We are currently looking for a dynamic candidate to fill the position of Manager at ourEdmontonlocation. This position is on a permanent full-time basis (40 hours a week), Schedules are variable according to operational needs (day, evening and week-end).
You will be responsible for the overall store operations as well as managing a team of approximately 15 employees, under the supervision of the Regional Director. You will manage all store operations in terms of sales, customer service, inventory and financial control.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment;
- Supervise and manage schedules and salary budgets;
- Communicate sales objectives , promotions and events to employees;
- Be present at the community level.
- Apply store merchandising standards;
- Determine the appropriate strategies to achieve sales budgets and financial profitability;
- Implement corporate policies and procedures and positively manage the implementation of changes;
- Supervise the management of store inventories;
- Build an effective team throughout recruitment, orientation and training employees;
- Ensure an exceptional customer service experience including coaching and development of employees utilizing our customer service program;
- Through a constant presence on the sales floor, create a positive work environment encouraging and nurturing employee engagement;
- Plan and organize all aspects of the store operations and ensure it is constantly managed including sales, merchandising, inventory, operational processes, scheduling and salary budget/ratios;
The qualifications required for the role of Store Manager:
- Ability to multi task/ strong organizational skills
- Bilingualism;
- Strong team coaching skills
- Customer oriented
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent, or relevant experience;
- Minimum of 5 year’s experience in retail management
- Mastery of sales techniques;
- Excellent communication, management and inter-personal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and computerized inventory management system and presence on social networks; • Varied week, weekend and evening hours.
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail business environment and market tendencies;
