Sr. Equity Research Analyst

Sixty Degree Capital is a Canadian institutional investor with a global investment. We are value-oriented investors in public markets, private equity, venture capitals.

We are looking for exceptional talent to join our Public Equities' team. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, make an impact, and demonstrate your value in discovering equities' fundamental value.

What will you do?

• Keep current on political and economic trends and events which could impact investment decisions.
• Perform in-depth fundamental research and analysis on the stocks and relevant companies independently; continually review existing investments and generate new investment ideas
• Maintain financial models and actively monitor investment thesis on a regular basis
• Prepare reports to communicate your investment thesis
• Assist in the development of sector or portfolio strategies.
• Prepare financial models and projections to determine equity valuations
• Develop and maintain business relationships with company management teams and industry experts.

What do you need?

Must-Have

• Excellent valuation and financial modeling
• CFA designation (or working towards it) is considered an asset
• Preferably from industry / buy-side setting in the investment management industry including mutual fund, hedge fund, investment management firms, etc.
• Proved stock picking ability with fundamental value and long-term focused
• Exceptional analytical and research skills
• 8+ years related working experience, be familiar with the Hongkong capital market and Chinese stocks.
