Within Sopra Steria's Cybersecurity division (I2S), you will join the global consulting team as a Market Research Analyst (North America) - Internship in our Toronto office. In this position, you will gain valuable experience and insights into the fast-paced world of cybersecurity and IT sales. You will work closely with our Security, Cloud and Business Development teams to support various market research, sales activities and contribute to the growth of our client base. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and network within the industry.

Sopra Steria Infrastructure & Security Services (I2S) is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria dedicated to infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity activities. It plays a key role in Sopra Steria's end-to-end services. Responsibilities

• Perform market research on trends and demands to help develop service catalog
• Create support content such as offer 1-pager or proposals (using templates) for sales & pre-sales team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to potential customers
• Gain a deep understanding of our cybersecurity and IT products and services
• Use various methods, including online research & networking to gather data
• Assist the sales team in managing customer inquiries, preparing sales proposals, and creating presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical departments and senior leadership, to ensure effective communication and alignment of sales strategies
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industries, and sectors
• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, and managing documentation related to sales processes

Requirements

• Previous work in a multicultural environment
• Must be a University/College student
• English required / French is a plus
• Highschool degree, and currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, IT Management, Project Management)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities and tasks
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT solutions and a desire to build a career in consulting/sales within the technology industry
• Familiarity with basic computer software (MS Office suite, Excel & PowerPoint is a must) and knowledge of CRM systems is a plus
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
