The Software Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of a portfolio of medical device software from concept to release. Working across teams, the Software Project Manager seeks input to create and update the project plan and schedule, coordinate decision-making activities, and track progress, to ensure timely and predictable release of software, in accordance with regulatory requirements. The Software Project Manager will report project status to upper management, facilitate ongoing process improvement activities, and is expected to be able to motivate and drive a culture focused on results and accountability.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate review and documentation deliverables to advance across the phases of the software development realization process
• Participate in cross-functional team interactions, with software developers, product management, quality assurance and regulatory personnel to sequence work and plan scope and resources
• Generate timelines for the completion of all software projects
• Engage project leads, stakeholders, and management to plan and prioritize the execution of a portfolio of software deliverables
• Create and update the project plans and schedules, and keeping them up to date by accounting for new information, dependencies between deliverables, and resource constraints
• Regularly report project progress at different levels of granularity (upper management vs engineering team)
• Facilitate process improvement activities

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Passion for the success of the team and the quality of the product they build
• Experience with application lifecycle management platforms such as Azure DevOps and Jira
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
• 3+ years of project management experience
