Software Engineer Iii (Edi)

Hanalytica is seeking an experienced EDI Software Engineer (Based in Canada) to develop cutting-edge software solutions that support the seamless movement of data to and from various business systems. As an EDI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development lifecycle, from gathering and refining requirements to final deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing technical projects and working collaboratively with software development teams. Additionally, a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle is crucial. This role entails a combination of solution development and collaboration with team members, with a strong emphasis on best practices and forward-thinking solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in regular meetings with development teams.
• Apply sound software engineering processes, including iterative development, unit testing, source code control, and peer reviews.
• Acquire a deep understanding of our business model and existing enterprise applications.
• Collaborate closely with project owners, requestors, and users to refine requirements.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• C#
• TSQL
• MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of build/release processes and continuous integration.
• ASP.NET MVC
• Experience in developing Microsoft SQL Server Stored Procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• ASP.NET MVC
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers).
• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience on the Microsoft stack, including:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio, alongside:
• Microsoft Team Services/Git (or other Source Control Provider).
• Familiarity with ORMs (Entity Framework, nHibernate, Dapper, etc.).

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with ANSI X12 standards.
• Proficiency in AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with Cloud development, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with Dapper ORM.
• Experience with Dependency Injection and IoC Containers.
• Experience with ORMs (Dapper, Entity Framework).
