Freelance Software Tester (With An Uber Driver Account)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers from Canada to join a project we are running for one of our clients. It is an Urban Mobility testing project, and it is required to have an Uber Driver account to participate in the runs. We accept applications both from the candidates who already are registered as Uber drivers, and from the testers who are willing to register as Uber drivers to participate in the project.

Requirements

• Language: English (intermediate or higher)
• Prior software testing experience would be a plus, but we will organize an onboarding session for drivers who have not tried testing before. We also have a set of professional courses that will help you get started.
• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Mandatory: an Uber Driver account (you will have to go through a verification process)
• NOTE: we are looking for testers with an UBER DRIVER account or willing to open one (NOT Uber Eats or Uber Delivery)
• Location: Canada
• Devices you may need: an Android smartphone (Android 10 or above) and/or iPhone (iOS 15 or above)

What does testing look like?

• The pay rates start at 18 USD per hour.
• Workload: 2-3 hours per week
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Payments are made on a weekly basis via PayPal or Payoneer.
• Type of testing: Exploratory, Usability, Urban Mobility
