SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Software Developer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: St. Laurent, QC (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Innovate and push the boundaries of rendering technologies;
• Responsible for writing code in C++ engine-related items;
• Be an active participant to our code review's process.
• Diagnose and solve common problems - such as load times, memory usage and performance problems - to improve the robustness of the engine;
• Optimize both memory and performance in systems;

Basic Qualifications

• Must have strong skills in C++ or C# and HLSL programming;
• Must have strong Vectors and Matrices Mathematical knowledge;
• Must have 2+ years of experience working in an Unreal engine environment;
• Should be self-motivated with proven experience researching, developing, and optimizing rendering solutions for a variety of platforms.
• Experience working in an environment with an emphasis on concurrency, memory, and performance;
• Must have B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience;
• Familiarity with development tools and profiling on modern systems;
