JD:

• The testing must be extremely resilient, testing might be the most important part of this component as it will then go to the next phase of being transferred to Kafka
• Must be set up to handle customization from NASDAQ when they have the same prefix keys.
• Process requires downloading XML from over 100 different markets, over 100 different downloads from a library, of very large file sizes, processing the XML, generating the alerts, and loading those alerts into Actimize. New database on a new schema.
• Since this is a legacy system, all old code will need to be ripped out and new code put in – script from old database into new database to fit into new schema
• The access key will be linked to the MS User ID, it will be an entry point for users, for which access key will open based on clearance and dependency.
• Skillsets include: Java, spring boot, XML, DB2, tomcat
• Trying to prevent various areas like trading from taking advantage of information within the firm, must be able to segregate jobs for security contacts as there are 3 different folders and being able to segregate the data will be important.
• Might run into issues with the size of the files and memory issues as well as some breakages in the XML due to special characters or severed tables
