The Digital Business Solution (DBS) team is responsible for the support, evolution and implementation of new business solutions across the company. As part of a major digital transformation, we own a portfolio of projects and initiatives covering a large variety of applications and fields of expertise (ERP, CRM, custom made applications, Business Intelligence, etc.).

The Software Developer will join a subset of the team focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and will contribute to our development activities ensuring alignment between the various teams, recommending best practices and contributing to the delivery of reliable and adequate solutions.

A day in the life of a Software Developer:

Want to get a sense of what you’ll be handling on a daily basis? Here’s a brief overview of some of your key tasks.

• Mentor junior developers on best practices for software coding, answer technical questions they may have regarding development platforms; and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed
• Develop, build and deploy D365 F&O solutions across development, test, and UAT environment
• Participate in support requests submitted by customers to help identify whether they are new feature requests rather than potential bugs with the solution
• Propose any innovations or enhancements to existing solutions that will lead to an improvement in productivity for the business as a whole
• Work with the BA (Business Analyst), Tech lead and Project Manager on new/existing requirements and projects for D365 F&O
• Evaluate and estimate development effort required for new requirements and projects concerning D365 F&O

• Minimum 3 years experience in AX/D365 F&O software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge on Git
• Knowledge on Azure-Devops
• Knowledge on TFVC
• Knowledge implementing automated test
• Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Strong knowledge of X++ programming language
• Knowledge developing SSRS Report
• Strong knowledge on developing in AX/D365 F&O
• Knowledge on D365 F&O Security roles, duties, and privileges
• Strong knowledge of SQL

Great if you have:

• Knowledge of Power BI
• Knowledge of Agile / KANBAN methodology
• Knowledge SSAS/SSIS and ETL
• Knowledge on Logic Apps
• Knowledge on Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
• Knowledge of C# programming language and .NET Framework
• Knowledge of PowerShell
