About the job:

Our team at Alea is growing and we’re currently looking to hire a social media/community manager. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and building a thriving online community.


Responsibilities


  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand identity and business objectives. This includes creating content calendars, scheduling posts, and overseeing the publishing process.
  2. Collaborate with external Agencies and Graphic Designers: Work closely with external agencies and graphic designers to plan, coordinate, and execute content creation. Ensure that content aligns with our brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
  3. Content Creation: Craft compelling, on-brand, and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok. Content may include images, videos, graphics, and written copy.
  4. Community Engagement: Engage with our online community through comments, messages, and direct interactions. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where users feel comfortable sharing their experiences, questions, and feedback.
  5. Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our message, expand our reach, and promote our sustainable period care brand.
  6. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and community engagement efforts.
  7. Trend Identification: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry news. Utilize this knowledge to continuously optimize our social media presence.



Qualifications


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree or a recognized certificate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Passion for sustainability, menstrual health, and environmental consciousness.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their unique audiences, and best practices.
  • Proven experience as a social media manager or community manager
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and create engaging content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with our online community and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
