Dana Hospitality (a part of Dexterra Group) is looking to hire a full-time Social Media Coordinator & Administrator to join our team. As a company that focuses on Scratch Cooking, we are looking for an individual skilled at creating engaging social media content, managing our digital platforms and communities while also providing administrative support.
This position will be located at University of St. Michael’s College (81 St Mary St, Toronto.) The candidate will report to both General Manager & the Corporate Engagement and Social Media Lead.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Social Media and Engagement
-Create multiple and custom Social Media content and able to pollinate the following platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook).
-Assist with both the launch and managing of our Pre-Ordering E-Commerce Interface
-Collect and Create Content to populate these handles with engaging, relevant and value-adding material for USMC students.
-Interact with campus students to gauge customer satisfaction regarding Food Services and liaison with Dana’s management team providing the paint points and work towards solutions
-Work with the Food Operations and Kitchens to generate excellent digital content regarding Food Processes, New Offerings and Culture
-Respond to questions, inquiries and suggestions about Food Services with a winsome and professional manner
-Create links for collaboration across campus to bolster digital viewership and prestige regarding our Food Services
-Send Digital Reports regarding Social Media Analytics to Dana’s Corporate Lead of Social Media
Administration
- Printing Menus as well as providing content for our Digital Menu Boards
- Cube monthly reports
- Assisting with execution of logs and verification
- Execution and implementation of safety calendar
Qualifications:
-Intermediate knowledge of the big 4 Social Media platforms including: Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter
-Ability to edit both audio and video on desktop and mobile is a necessity
-The ability to take strong and well-positioned photos with a mobile or tablet camera
-Demonstrated ability to be both creative and efficient in creating Social Media content
-Strong understanding of how brand messaging works and the ability to pivot this into multiple content forms is a must
-Ability to develop rapport immediately and follow up on deliverables is a must
-Rudimentary understanding of Kitchen Health and Safety is preferred
-Flexibility in hours is strongly preferred
