GPU DESIGN LEAD
The Role
As a member of the Radeon Technologies Group, you will bring to life cutting-edge designs. In this high-profile role, you will be the overall design and verification lead for next generation graphics program. You will work across all of engineering and businesses to meet overall design and verification needs to achieve first pass silicon success.
THE PERSON
A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers. The candidate will be detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Work with Architects and shape micro-architecture of digital blocks, write design specifications
• Plan, Execute and Track new features at IP and SoC level
• Co-ordinating design, verification and implementation activities at IP level
• Closely work with block architect to understand design trade-offs and performance challenges
• Synthesis and timing closure in co-ordination with Physical Design team and SoC teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience using industry standard tools and adoptability to utilize home grown tools
• Languages
• Prior experience with graphics design/pipelining is required
• Metric-driven verification
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details
• Strong experience with System Verilog, RTL, C/C++ and Scripting
• Strong understanding of verification techniques, including assertion and
• 10 + years of experience on Logic Design, Physical Design and Design Verification preferred
• Good understanding of computer organization/architecture
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in technical leadership. This includes planning, execution, tracking, verification closure, and delivery to programs

Academic Credentials

• BS, Masters or PhD in EE or CE

Location can be flexible.
