Small Company Controller Jobs

Our client located in the North End of Edmonton is currently seeking a small business Controller to help cover a temporary leave. This is a part time position working 2-3 days per week for approximately 4-6 months.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands-on Controller will have the following responsibilities and must meet the desired requirements.

Responsibilities

• Entity revenue and expense reporting
• Month end close and prepare internal profit and loss statement
• Hands on full cycle accounting processing (AP, AR, Payroll)
• Supervision of one assistant
• Bank reconciliation and cash flow reporting
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• Strong Excel knowledge and ability including Vlookup and Pivot Table skills
• 10+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• CPA designation or equivalent
• Experience in a multi entity environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable and willingness to be very hands on
• Strong Sage 50 working experience or a similar software required
