Job Title: Site Services Lead (Facilities) Multiyear construction project

We are seeking an experienced Site Services Lead (Facilities) to join our team. This role requires the management of the Site Services contractor, overseeing the installation of trailers, furniture, and IT supply, as well as ensuring the compliance with building and fuel permitting requirements. The Site Services Lead will also be responsible for material management and analysis of construction equipment usage and site lighting for efficiency and safety. This role requires close collaboration with various teams and contractors to meet the organizational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Site Services contractor in support of various aspects of site services, ensuring adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors to secure permits for all fuel tanks over 2,500L, as required by the City of Edmonton.
• Furniture Installation Program Development:
• Work with the City of Edmonton to secure necessary permits for all trailers and permanent buildings, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Supervise the contract for the installation of approximately 150 trailers, ensuring timelines and quality requirements are met.
• IT Supply Management:
• Material Management:
• Liaise between the Site Services contractor and the Client Material Management team to ensure the contractor is meeting Client requirements.
• Site Services Contractor Management:
• Fuel & Permitting Requirements:
• Analyze site-wide usage of construction equipment and common area lighting to ensure that the site is set up safely and efficiently.
• Trailer Installation Management:
• Oversee the supply and maintenance of all printers, monitors, and computer equipment not supplied by the Client IT team, ensuring consistent availability and functionality.
• Construction Equipment and Site Lighting Analysis:
• Develop and manage the furniture installation program for the 150 trailers, coordinating with vendors and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Building Permit Compliance:

Qualifications:

• Understanding of building and fuel permitting processes.
• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and construction principles.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of IT equipment and systems related to facilities management.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including experience managing contractors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
