The Senior Production Solutions Analyst (SPSA) will be the technical lead for both pre and post sales implementation of Software and Professional Services within the Ricoh Graphic Communications (RGC) portfolio. This is an expert level position which requires deep expertise and experience in integrating solutions including hardware, workflow as well as standalone software and services. Additionally, the Senior PSA will be a subject matter expert lead in specific areas of our Subject Matter Expert (SME) Program such Cross Media, Color Management, Workflow and other specialized disciplines that will be developed in the future.
The Senior PSA will be engaged early in a sales cycle to identify sales prospects and work closely with the RGC group (Sales and Analysts), direct/dealer sales organizations and customers to uncover opportunities implementing RGC software solutions and professional services. The Senior PSA will also provide basic project management of implementations, and training of customers as required. The primary focus of this role is to help drive professional services and software in addition to developing other SME programs to deliver future revenue possibilities. This individual will create relationships with internal and external customers to help promote our software and services portfolio. The Senior PSA is also a crucial part of the RGC team achieving our software and professional services targets.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Drive RGC Software and Professional Services (Cross Media, Color Management, etc)
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to all RGC sales reps in assigned territories
  • Provide disciplined leadership of professional services deliverables utilizing Statement of Work (SOW) templates
  • Develop RGC Subject Matter Expert programs
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners to bring new products and solutions to market
  • Implement integrated solutions across the RGC Software portfolio (Core Services)
  • Be the lead for all Solution assurance activities involved for Software sales, collaborate with Sales Team for assistance as required.
  • Attend all relevant sales and customer meetings (virtual and in-person)
  • Be an advocate for the customer to ensure complete satisfaction and acceptance
  • Support direct sales reps with the achievement of Software and PS revenue plans
Other Related Duties-
  • To ensure that all necessary training that will required to improve all SME Programs staying up to date and relevant.
  • Responsible for ongoing presales, technical, and business skill development
  • Ability to understand concept and spotter for MIS solutions and Workflow
  • Ability to do Assessments to ensure the correct solution is being presented to the customer including findings and recommendations documents.
  • Ability to spot opportunities and start sales cycle around eCommerce solutions – Basic value prop and overview of various eCommerce solutions.
  • Lead Subject Matter Expert Programs
Qualifications
  • Strong face to face customer advisory and relationship skills
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Digital printing, Offset/Litho Printing, pre-sales and post-sales services and solutions implementation in Commercial Print and Enterprise environments and/or industry related experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven experience
  • Supports unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities, presenting solutions of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors leading to solution ROI, proof-of-concept, Statement of Work, solution implementation, and project management throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Graphic Communication products and services
  • Exceptional analytical ability
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science / information technology or equivalent experience
  • G7 and Fiery Expert certification
  • Must complete assigned Project Management Courses from Ricoh Learning Institute within the first year of employment
