Summary
This Senior Manager, Strategy is responsible to develop market, stakeholder and employee strategies to support Bell throughout Western Canada. Reporting directly to the Vice Chair Bell MTS and Western Canada the successful candidate will gather and analyze data, facilitate planning teams across operational business units, develop strategic recommendations, lead communication strategies and support and improve business outcomes. This role is responsible for managing strategic programs intended to support engagement, business results and Bell’s overall profile for the West.
To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to be a proactive, collaborative thought leader and have documented experience developing sound strategic business plans. This role will be focused on delighting our clients in both the Residential and Business market segments and have a deep understanding of the positive drivers of strong relationships. This key strategic team member is data oriented and has strong abilities to communicate elements of strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare executive-facing presentations based on historical performance insights and future modeling to drive decision and action
  • Facilitate senior leaders across Western Canada to develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunity
  • Present KPI forecast models and drivers summary to senior leaders seeking alignment
  • Prepare employee related communications to ensure a deep commitment to our objectives
  • Manage NPS survey insights to ensure customer delight
  • Own comprehensive reporting and insights to better understand performance
  • Vet operational KPI benefit of projects to ensure intelligent prioritization of capital
  • Define, articulate, size, recommend, and drive strategy across Western Canada; leveraging regional insight while supporting efficient national operational models
Critical Qualifications
  • B.S. in operations, engineering or B.Com in Business, or minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or process improvement
  • Financial or statistical modeling experience
  • Proven leadership skills, coaching team members with the ability to get things done
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing and managing strategic business programs
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentations)
  • Flexible and able to tackle duties outside of their usual scope of work when called upon
  • Above average negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills suitable for executive audience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proven experience at developing and delivering presentations supported with data and analytics and presenting at the executive level
  • Experience in Project Management and delivery
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven who is able to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly; deadline driven with excellent project and time management skills
