As ATB's next Senior Manager of Strategy and Initiatives, you will be a key member of ATB Investment Management (ATBIM)'s Business Initiatives team. This small, but mighty team drives strategy development and manages strategic initiatives to ensure achievement of ATBIM's vision and strategic mandate.

The Senior Manager of Strategy and Initiatives will be responsible for driving the strategic planning process and spearheading high priority projects. You will work closely with ATBIM's business leaders and cross-functional groups to progress their strategy and deliver projects to maximize the impact and ROI to the business.

You will act as a trusted advisor, provide competitive market insights and work in both an individual and team setting to achieve the stated goals.

Accountabilities

• Strategic leadership: In partnership with business leaders, develop short and medium term strategic, operating, and tactical plans that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for ATBIM.
• Drive Efficiency: Lead enhancements and refinements to ATBIM's operational capabilities; facilitate and continually improve methodologies, frameworks and workflows that support ATBIM's strategic and business priorities.
• Performance: Work closely with ATBIM's partners to drive design and implementation of performance monitoring measures, and dashboards. Monitor and report on relevant financial and non financial KPIs and Operating Metrics.
• Insight: Analyze market trends and leverage data-driven insights when strategizing and designing project/program plans and use them to design and track strategic priorities.
• Delivery: Drive design, planning and delivery of ATBIM's strategic initiatives in partnership with ATBIM's service providers. This includes creating the business case, road mapping, goal setting and delivery oversight.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Wealth Management Industry will be an asset
• 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education, experience and industry knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and team members
• Expertise in strategy planning and a strong project management and/or product owner background
• Strong business acumen to make data driven decisions that support ATB's strategic and financial goals
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and change management skills to ensure new initiatives and strategies are successful
