What We’re Looking For
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Education and L&D, the Senior Manager, Education – Global will be a key contributor to the Global COE and responsible for designing and delivering high-impact learning solutions across consumer-facing audiences to support the strategic growth of The Ordinary and other brands.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Toronto office.

What We’re Looking For
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Education and L&D, the Senior Manager, Education – Global will be a key contributor to the Global COE and responsible for designing and delivering high-impact learning solutions across consumer-facing audiences to support the strategic growth of The Ordinary and other brands.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Toronto office.
What You’d Be Doing In This Role
- Foster effective collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional leadership, regional field education, brand, scientific communications, store operations, etc.
- Be a strategic business advisor and managing stakeholder relationships
- Manage global education requests. Prioritize and plan learning content ideas and concepts based on regional needs and requirements, and oversee the production and delivery
- Support insights and data on impact of regional field training tools and programs (including Partnerships, owned retail, store in store, and customer happiness) and identify opportunities for further improvement and support
- Lead the development and optimization of all global education content that touches consumers. This includes producing and publishing content, writing, editing, proofreading and formulating learning content strategies that ultimately drive the goals of the business
- Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshop guides, cheat sheets and other global education materials
- Manage Global Education content across all internal company platforms
- Assess the success of education (delivery, engagement, efficacy, etc.) and revise strategies and approaches to help consumer facing team members make the most of learning opportunities
- Provide editorial, creative and technical support throughout production process
- Support training efforts - Provide input, document requirements, coaching and support the design and delivery of training initiatives within the field
- Responsible for conceptualizing with internal stakeholders including Brand, Scientific Communications, Retail and Partnerships Leads, ELC affiliates and external stakeholders to devise high-impact learning solutions in-line with the DECIEM’s strategic priorities
- Work experience in the beauty/skincare industry, consumer-facing and retail is a must to be considered
- A strong understanding of Adult Learning Theory (certification preferred) and Instructional Design Principles, including needs assessment and evaluation theory
- Excellent presenting skills and comfort in front of a camera/large audience
- A strong understanding of facilitation principles
- Excellent written, editorial and verbal communication skills
- 3 + years of people management and/or leadership experience is required
- Experience creating digital assets (ie. creating and editing training videos)
- Experience designing e-learning solutions (preferred Articulate 360)
- Familiar with key learning technologies (ie. LXP and LMS)
- Technical Skills:
- Experience envisioning, establishing, and implementing high-level content strategies in support of learning and development
