Under the direction of PARC’s Co- CEOs, the Senior Director of Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing operations as per the company’s business strategy and ensuring that the organization is a leader in the Senior Living industry. This includes:

Management and Leadership Duties:

• Provide input to the Co-CEOs and Chairman in the corporate decision-making process.
• Analyze workflows to ensure operational efficiencies and ensure that systems are continually reviewed against controls for quality, method consistency and cost-benefit ratio.
• You will oversee the optimum use of all operations-focused technology, including BookJane, ContinYou-Care, Welbi, Maintenance Care Software and IHP and other technology as needed.
• You will develop and assign team goals for the operations department that are fully aligned with the organizational strategic goals.
• You will develop and implement standards, systems and operational processes that increase efficiencies in PARC’s operations.
• You will be accountable for the overall operations of all PARC Retirement Living communities and responsible for day-to-day operations to exceptional standards of the “PARC customer experience” and ensuring all PARC building standards and required industry standards are upheld.
• You will be responsible for the execution of PARC’s strategic goals in collaboration with the Executive team, provide input to PARC’s corporate strategy and contribute to short and long-term PARC organizational planning and strategy development.
• Preparation of periodic reports to the Executive team and Owners.

People Duties:

• You will ensure all direct reports receive regular and appropriate coaching and mentoring to help them achieve personal growth and performance excellence with the PARC overarching strategy.
• You will provide training, coaching, guidance and support; set professional development plans to assist members of the operations team to reach their full potential.
• You will oversee a dynamic team of operation department direct reports
• You will be responsible to conduct regular performance reviews as per the corporate performance management process.

Financial Duties:

• You will assist in developing long-range forecasts and maintain long-range financial plans.
• You will be responsible for achieving business results and financial targets.
• You will be responsible for operational budgets and budget control.

Other Duties:

• You will direct and manage appropriate vendor relationships.
• You will represent the Vision and Mission of PARC to internal and external stakeholders.

It takes a special kind of person to work here – does this sound like you?

• You have a minimum of eight years’ experience working in senior living, hospitality or another related industry; providing strategic and operational leadership.
• You’re quick on your feet, anticipating issues, problem-solving and demonstrating sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
• You’re a driven, customer-service-oriented managerial professional with a University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Operational Management, or similar University Degree equivalent.
• You communicate effectively and tactfully with customers and employees alike.
• You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and the professionals engaged in their care.
• You’re a strategic thinker and problem-solver with a glowing track record of implementing strategic and operational plans, as well as budgets and financial plans.
• You also have at least five years of experience in leading and managing employees, cultivating high-performing teams and employee engagement in a collaborative and respectful work environment.
