As Senior Director of Finance you will play a vital role by setting the tone for the company's culture and promoting the strategic direction of the department. You will have multiple direct reports (Manager level) and will provide leadership, mentorship and development for the greater accounting team.

You will be responsible for overseeing quarterly and annual reporting processes, fund-level consolidations and JV reporting, oversight of monthly financial statements, managing tax compliance reporting and filing requirements, and developing accounting processes, internal controls, systems, and procedures. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring that all transactions and activities are in compliance with ASPE.

You will oversee a Manager of FP&A, responsible for managing the budget preparation process, analyzing asset and fund-level financial results, banking activities and liquidity, and overseeing cash forecasting and analysis. You will also assist with investor relations activities, overseeing capital calls and capital distributions for funds and joint venture projects, and ensuring compliance with the terms of funds and joint venture agreements.

You will work closely with the SVP of Finance and Accounting and external lenders in securing property and project-level financing.

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of private company financial reporting in a complex environment and at least 10+ years in a managerial role, and real estate experience.
