Business Process Analyst, Finance And Accounting

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst, Finance and Accounting to work within their newly established Finance Digital Accelerator initiative that is keen to integrate technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and AI within finance and accounting processes. To strengthen this team, they are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst who possesses a strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and can help them transform using the latest technology.

Role Details:

• Design and define future state processes that foster standardization, streamline operations, and stimulate innovation within finance functions.
• Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technological solutions that leverage Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to facilitate change and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assess and prioritize potential process improvement initiatives, based on their alignment with the company's strategic objectives and potential return on investment.
• Act as a bridge between the finance and technology teams, ensuring that technological solutions are properly aligned with finance process requirements and business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis within the context of finance and accounting, focusing on processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Utilize process mining techniques to analyze, visualize, and improve upon existing processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with process mining techniques and tools.
• Solid understanding of financial processes like P2P, O2C, R2R, and the ability to map and improve them.
• Experience with RPA and a desire to upskill with emerging technologies like Blockchain, Machine Learning and AI.
• Proven track record in managing change and implementing process improvements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related roles within a finance and accounting context.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

• Credentialed in business analysis (e.g., CBAP)

Assignment Length:

6-month contract to start
