Your Challenge
As part of its growth strategy, Kamik Canada Inc. recognizes the importance of focusing on the development of brand experience. Transforming the brand into a contemporary consumer company means building digital capabilities into an established marketing framework.For this reason, Kamik Canada Inc. has created the new position of Senior Director of Brand Experience.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing a global brand experience strategy, inclusive of experiential marketing, digital and partnerships to build consumer connectivity and drive brand awareness. Specifically, you will be responsible for creating engaging experiential programs across cultural pillars that reward loyalists and attract new consumers to the brand and to establish a marketing budget to drive growth. Your role will be to ensure that the department is managed efficiently and will ensure the professional development of the employees under your responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- Build out the ecommerce team and digital capabilities within the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends including disclosure requirements and performance best practices
- Maintain and develop a high performing and diverse team of influencer marketing experts
- Oversee development creative and compelling marketing material that is consistent with company vision and long-range plan
- Manage the company's marketing strategy with a specific focus on digital strategy in order to integrate new communication technologies with existing tools and methods
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the marketing team in support of the vision and objectives (project management, management priority setting, cross-functional communication to ensure all departments and partners are up to date and aligned with the Brand Experience goals)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that deadlines and budgets are met and that reports are complete
- Lead development of content and brand overview documents outlining program creative requirements, communication mandatories and expectations
- Lead all digital marketing initiatives from campaign ideation to execution and from measurement to optimization
- Oversee advertising campaigns to ensure they provide maximum return on investment
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure smooth operation of the ecommerce business
- Act as a member of the leadership team
- Lead experiential content strategy development, ensuring that strong tie efforts are amplified to a larger audience for brand growth
- Integrate and reinforce data-driven decision-making
- Function as the primary point of contact, primary administrators, and internal expert on our ecommerce strategy and systems
- Developing design guidelines for the brand, to ensure a consistent, scalable experience
- Oversee development and implementation of a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability, aligned with the company's overall business objectives
- Demonstrate a thoughtful and inspiring approach to challenging clients and internal stake holders to ask questions and constantly push for great work
- Work directly with our clients and internal stakeholders to develop strategic, thoughtful and creative influencer solutions
You will have success and pleasure in this position if you…
- Have proven experience in managing a successful team
- Are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
- Have completed a master’s degree in business, marketing or any other discipline deemed relevant (an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop influencer plans
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have solid technical background with in-depth knowledge of software and web technologies
- Have solid project management skills and ability to achieve success on time and within budget
- Are open to changes and you have a great capacity of adaptation
- Have proven ability to innovate and create differentiating, proprietary marketing programs to build brand leadership
- Have a clear understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, importance and role of influencer marketing, best practices
- Have a good proficiency in the Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Have a minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in eCommerce
- Have completed a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or any other discipline deemed relevant
- Have 10+ years of relevant experience in Digital, Content or Brand Marketing
- Have strong working knowledge with advanced consumer data analytics and applications to marketing strategy development, planning & activation
