Job Description

We’re looking for a forward thinker who will have full accountability and leadership for the Foodbuy Member Accounts team. This leader will own strategy development, P&L management, internal and external stakeholder relationship, communication, drive growth, new client onboarding, retention strategies, and execution of business plans.



Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Director, Account Managers we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Leadership of the accounts management team. Mentor direct and indirect reports to provide personal development opportunities for growth
  • Client Relationship Management including contract negotiations, retention strategies, new business onboarding, quarterly business reviews and stakeholder management. Conduct tactical negotiations and influence change.
  • P&L accountability including, budgeting, and forecasting. Collaborate with US counterparts and/or other global teams
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing and Communications to execute initiatives and influence.
  • Develop and present business strategies with Channel Directors for assigned area.
  • Continually monitor key performing indicators including profit contribution, contract utilization, and run rates.
  • Develop and monitor strategic initiatives that will drive sustainable revenue growth year over year. Identify business gaps and develop programs that meet member requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with the Foodbuy support teams and Suppliers to ensure thorough and smooth implementation and integration of all new Foodbuy programs.
  • Remain current on industry trends that could lead to development of new strategic initiatives in providing sustainable growth, sales, and profitability
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Optimize commercial value in the supplier/business unit relationship

  • Prior experience interacting, communicating, negotiating, and collaborating with executive level professionals
  • Food Service experience is an asset
  • Strong PC skills with an emphasis on MS Office
  • Travel average is up to 20 % per month
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience leading a professional account management/business development team within a service-related industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
