Senior Designer Jobs

Globalla Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Designer/Product Developer.

This position requires a creative individual with technical knowledge. A successful candidate will be able create and follow product through development phases until production. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve is key, as is collaborating with team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time and according to customer specifications.

This role is for the Accessories division which covers Hosiery, Socks, footwear, scarves, hats, and gloves, as well as ladies apparel.

Tasks:

· Create and update tech packs, packaging and technical sketches

· Communicate with overseas factories

· Product sourcing and communication

· Assist samples related tasks such as receiving/submitting/commenting

· Measure products and create specs

· Create and update costing spread sheets and follow up tracker

· Collaborate with lead designers on needed basis

Ensures all deadlines are met within the seasonal calendar

Qualifications:

. 7+ years of experience in sales/marketing men’s, women’s & kid’s socks/hosiery and other above-mentioned categories

· Proficient in Illustrator, photoshop and Office suite

· Able to create flat sketches(CADS) and create pattern/print repeats in Illustrator

· Strong collaborative, organizational and interpersonal skills

· Ability to meet deadlines, understands time sensitivity

· Proactive, organized and detail oriented

· Must have sourcing and vendor communication experience and good communications skills in English

· Design degree or equivalent

· Knowledge of fabric and garment manufacturing process
