We are on the lookout for an experienced and talented Senior Design Co-ordinator focused on designing multi-residential projects.

Position Summary
Reporting to the President, the Senior Design Co-ordinator (Multi-Residential) is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager/President primarily with design direction, construction administration and research, with other development planning related responsibilities. The Senior Design Co-ordinator (Multi-Residential) will get to be a part of exciting design projects on different scales, supporting the project management team.
Key Functions And Supporting Activities
Design

• Working with the internal Construction and Development teams and external suppliers and trade partners on Exterior and Interior design selections
• Championing most sought after and efficient Floorplans
• Full building signage
• Space planning and design of Common Areas and Amenity spaces
• Involvement with projects from conceptual design through to construction and installation
• Furniture selections and procurement to nail the look, feel and function of common areas

Construction Administration

• Coordinate 3D modelling and renderings
• Building specifications package/design schedule

Research

• Researching best practice ideas (plans and amenities) from other projects

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced Skills in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD
• You have the drive, energy and determination to make things better. You embrace feedback and seek to be a source of positive continuous improvement.
• Understand how to interpret plans and bring new ideas to the team
• Multi-Residential experience is a must
• A self-starter, you are organized, efficient, tech and design savvy and can think on your feet. You know how to set a plan, and then deliver on it, whether on your own, or as a team.
• We’re looking for someone who works hard and genuinely cares about their job, their colleagues, and the people who live in the homes we build.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills
