Our communities are among the best places to live in Western Canada, and we are looking for a seasonal Multi-Skilled Worker to fill a Casual Concierge/Front Desk position for the summer months.

As the Multi Skilled Worker, you are responsible for assisting with providing a welcoming environment for our residents, employees, and visitors through a variety of support duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering meal trays to resident suites
• Socialization with residents
• Follow safety rules and procedures
• Answering phones, responding to resident requests including resident call bells
• Ensure residents are provided with a secure living environment, patrol the building and investigate building access violations, report accordingly
• Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

Qualifications And Experience

• Ability to work independently
• Completion of Highschool Diploma is an asset
• Experience in an aging adults setting is an asset
• Superior organizational skills
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partners
• Completion of CPR and First Aid
• Superior oral and written communication skills

Conditions of Employment

• Strong attention to detail
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds
• Clear Police Information Check
• COVID-19 vaccination proof. This requirement may be waived if you have received an exemption through the provincial government.
