Senior Corporate Controller Jobs

Working directly with the owner and a member of the leadership team, the Senior Controller will focus on developing the finance and accounting group with the goal of optimizing its functionality and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversight of tax returns, compliance and related tax planning (working with the in-house tax manager)
• Internal financial reporting
• Global responsibility for accounting and tax – the Controller of each of the 4 divisions will report to this position
• Provide goals and accountability standards to all team members
• Ensure financial working papers are maintained to consistent and strong standards
• Accounting and financial policies and procedures
• Build and maintain strong accounting/finance teams across all divisions and disciplines and provide ongoing training and mentorship

Background:

• Previous position to have included management of medium / large accounting group
• Strong software skills, ideally with experience of Sage 300 CRE, Profile and Quickbooks
• Construction and / or real estate experience a plus
• CPA with 5 years industry experience
