Financial Controller Jobs

Johnny’s Transportation Services is actively seeking a Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the company.

The successful candidate will require the following:

- Extensive experience in a financial supervisory role

- CPA designation or education in the field of finance

- Excellent organizational, management and communication skills

- Ability to oversee all aspects of financial management and financial reporting

Main responsibilities:

- Managing the corporate financial records

- Utilizing financial software such as QuickBooks

- Preparing monthly financial statements including but not limited to journal entries, asset maintenance and account reconciliation balance sheets

- Supervising A/R, A/P & Payroll

- Paying WSIB, EHT, HST, federal taxes, payroll taxes as well as year-end reconciliations

- Preparing year end documents

- Administering the company pension plan, benefits plan and insurance program
