THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Senior Contracts Administrator will prepare and issue all contract documents, and coordinate, collect, assemble, and review all contract change documents from the multi-disciplinary project team.

This individual will chair start up meetings and regular construction meetings between contractors and owners and conduct on-site field reviews while acting as company representative on the construction site. With your ability to monitor and review contract progress, you will manage all contract communication and respond to requests for information while solving problems as they rise. With strong experience and background in the industry, this individual will review as-built drawings and O&M manuals, provide feedback on any design related changes or issues, and work closely with design, specifications, and quality management team.

With a collaborative and communicative structure, open concept, and award-winning design details this individual will be a part of a dynamic and innovative team that is growing and developing. This role will have opportunity to grow and move forward in the company to more senior positions.

This candidate will have the following aspects;

• An in-depth knowledge of building codes and construction procedures
• Detailed approach to projecty management with an entrepreneurial mindset in developing a team and leading projects forward through to completion
• Strong building science background with an excellent understanding of construction process, methods, and materials
• 7 - 10 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator
• Experience working with technical programs such as REVIT and AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of maintaining high quality standards while working within tight deadlines
• Proficient in project field reporting, field reviews, payment certification, site document processing (CCN/RFI/SI) and contract change procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• High energy, innovative thinking and a dynamic approach to design and planning
