Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-Time Scheduler/Timekeeper/Program Clerk to join our dynamic Donor Relations and Supply Chain team in Saint John. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and creating rotational work schedules, timekeeping functions and administrative support to all program activities and will provide this support in accordance with all regulations, standards and good manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provides administrative support for the Supply Chain and other departments
  • Arranges accommodations for staff traveling to mobile clinics
  • Perform Timekeeping/ Payroll functions for departments
  • Assess and plan staffing requirements in consultation with Manager/Supervisors to meet operational needs
  • Prepare/create/revise work schedules according to Collective Agreement requirements
  • Other related duties, as required

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of three years of recent experience in related position preferably in regulated environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in creative analytic thinking
  • Ability to establish priorities and organize workload
  • Completion of a secondary school program in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably one year in Office Administration
  • Accuracy with attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets
  • Ability to work effectively in an integrated multi disciplinary team environment
