Postion Summary:
Are you an analytical and customer service-focused individual? Are you enthusiastic about delivering innovative solutions and reliable data and analyses which inform decision-making?
As a member of the Inkbox team, you will partner closely with leadership to establish our process for short-term forecasting and drive scheduling for our Operations and Retail team. This role is responsible for leading the administration of the Workforce Management applications and process (scheduling, forecasting, budgeting and time and attendance), learning the latest in emerging WFM tools and software as Inkbox continues to build its Workforce Management capabilities at scale. As well as overseeing the fulfillment schedule to ensure timely and complete production and delivery of orders.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical background and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and adjust production schedule based on forecast / customer demand, capacity, and inventory.
- Own long, mid, and short-term planning cycles - from forecasting, scheduling to real-time management. Provide enhancements to the existing locked forecast process
- Assist with the daily WFM responsibilities to include daily staff requirements, vacation/holiday schedules for the Operations Department and provide analysis of labour cost and forecasting.
- Communicating to various levels within an organization
- Gather unstructured data to produce insights and reporting using Excel / Google Sheets
- Forecast volumes and productivity assumptions across all channels and lines of businesses using historical data, trends, seasonality, and events. Quickly identify and explain fluctuations in volume, and other assumptions to adjust resources accordingly
Requirements:
- Problem-solving and analytical experience
- A minimum of a BS or BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, supply chain / materials management or any related field
- Prior scheduling experience, preferably in a manufacturing, healthcare or hospitality environment
