Project Scheduler Jobs

Aplin has partnered with our large, well-known electrical utility client to recruit an experienced Project Scheduler for a 3-month contract.
Being a part of the Major Projects team, this role is responsible for developing, expanding, and maintaining project schedules for multiple projects during the planning, design, procurement, construction, and start-up stages. You will be expected to maintain the project schedules on a daily basis, update and analyze the schedules, develop detailed "What If" schedules, identify critical path elements and associated logic-driven options, provide support to execution strategies and ensure that resource requirements for the schedules are incorporated at the appropriate stages.
Qualifications

• Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with employees, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• Previous experience interfacing with personnel involved in the engineering, procurement, contracting, execution, and commissioning phases or projects.
• Must be an advanced user of Primavera P6 software and Power BI (oracle primavera cloud experience is an asset).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage diverse projects and processes with conflicting deadlines.
• 5 or more years of related industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project scheduling experience
• Diploma or university Degree in an engineering, construction, project management, or related trade discipline.
• Experience in the electrical utility industry is an asset.
