With two locations in Canada, head office in St. John’s and terminal location in Cambridge, ON, Hunt’s is well positioned to service its customers in the construction, energy, industrial and seasonal products sectors. To capitalize on growing opportunities, we are presently seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to join our team in the role of *Sales Representative. Reporting to the Manager – Sales & Operations, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated sales success in the transportation and/or supply chain sector and a passion for customer service.*
Key Responsibilities Include
  • Utilize the internal sales software to manage opportunities and customer data.
  • Develop existing and new customer relationships.
  • Sell the complete service offerings of Hunt’s Logistics
  • Develop quotes which are in line with the company’s standard rating, terms, and conditions.
Our Preferred Candidate Will Have
  • Proven ability in sales within the Transportation Industry – LTL and flatbed strongly preferred.
  • Innovative outlook and an ability to identify unique opportunities for growth and sales.
  • Education in business and/or transportation/logistics considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales within the transportation industry
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, individually and with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and strong follow through
  • Self-motivated with a desire to excel beyond expectations.
