Job Description

Position Overview

Nachi Canada’s Bearing Division is seeking a Sales Representative who will function as our primary driver for new sales.

This candidate will focus on increasing order volume while expanding Nachi’s presence in the marketplace by actively seeking out new leads and providing excellent customer support to our existing customers.

This position will primarily drive growth through distribution channels but may assist the OEM business when necessary.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop and actively implement follow-up strategies for leads.
  • Provide quotations, product information, and delivery information to the customers.
  • Initiate customer visits on a regular basis to develop positive relationships as well as to identify potential leads.
  • Drive significant growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of business with existing customers.

·Report the progress of business development to the National Sales Manager.

·Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, or problems.

·Perform presentations and training seminars and attend exhibitions to increase sales and visibility.

·Coordinate with the Nachi America’s engineering team to provide technical assistance, training, and cost saving alternatives to our customers.

·Work closely with other members of the sales team on customer service, quotes, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiations/problem solving skills.
  • Secondary school diploma.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Hunter sales mentality - highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and results driven approach.
  • Available to travel daily. Some overnight travel as required/requested.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in Sales or related equivalent experience.
  • Well organized with ability to multi-task and execute a plan of action.

·Computer skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office to communicate customer needs, prepare proposals, quotations, and reports.

·Experience in bearing or power transmission products is a plus.

·Post-secondary education in a technical field would be an asset.
