Job Description

Revenue Operations (RevOps) Analyst

We are looking to add an integral, cross-functional role to our Finance function at Avanti. The RevOps Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining an operational center of excellence, servicing our Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Finance teams. You are responsible for implementing and optimizing Avanti’s Lead to Order processes and creating dashboards and reporting to drive their efficacy and accountability across the organization. This role is highly cross-functional and you will be expected to build partnerships with leaders across Avanti, understanding their strategic goals and translating them to Avanti’s systems to drive revenue growth and process optimization.

You are innately curious, and not afraid to ask the challenging questions to get to the root of the problem. Operating as the admin for multiple systems, you are familiar with training and setting up others for success so they can effectively self-serve. You’ll be working with a team that values excellence, collaboration, and fun. You will be supported with a full tech stack, learning and development opportunities, and the infrastructure of an outstanding team. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with high connection points to the VP of Sales and Sr Manager of Account Management.

What You’ll Do:

  • System Enhancements and Integrations: Work with relevant teams to implement system improvements and automations to optimize processes, including integrations between HubSpot, SFDC, Netsuite and within the Sales & Marketing tech stack. You maintain all existing automations/integrations and you ensure changes in one system don’t negatively impact automations.
  • Process Optimization: Work with leaders across the organization to optimize processes to identify pain points, propose solutions, and unlock critical data insights and remove bugs/bottlenecks from RevOps processes to maximize revenue growth and efficiency.
  • Act as our SFDC and Hubspot Admin: Ensure that SFDC and Hubspot systems are properly configured, maintained, and used effectively within Avanti to drive growth and success. You own the data hygiene of key fields, reports and dashboards and monitor and manage their accuracy – data is “CEO ready” at all times.
  • Training & Support: Take a proactive approach to training Avanti team members on new processes, tools, and initiatives to optimize revenue growth and Lead to Order processes. Create easy to understand documentation and videos.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on SaaS industry trends and new updates within Avanti’s tech stack. Demonstrate curiosity and tenacity to deliver system/process enhancements to Avanti that challenge you. If you don’t know something, you are someone who will seek out the answers online.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Create and maintain performance dashboards and reports to monitor key client data and metrics (gross retention, net retention, price uplift, usage count growth, client health score, at risk client tracking, and client adoption tracking) that allow for accurate forecasting (pipeline management, net new and upsell forecasting, renewals forecasting).

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • Must Have: Strong understanding of SFDC, including CPQ (Admin or CPQ Admin certifications a plus, but not required).
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics and business models. Knowledge of key metrics/processes in Sales/Marketing (sales stages, lead attribution & conversion rates, pipeline & forecasting, campaign management), Client Experience (retention rates, renewal processes, client health score/at risk tracking), and Finance (ARR metrics, understanding of how changes at point of sale or renewal impact client billing and finance reporting).
  • Demonstrated ability of working cross-functionally within an organization
  • Solid understanding of Hubspot (or similar marketing automation platforms) including how to effectively manage and build integrations with Salesforce
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

What you can expect:

  • Connect and develop invaluable professional relationships with other people who are passionate about building better workplaces in an open, collaborative, and fun environment
  • Extended Health Coverage & Wellness Account, RRSP matching starting Day 1
  • Work in a fast-paced environment as part of a dynamic, rapidly-growing company with a history of proven success
  • Live and work anywhere in Canada as part of our flexible, distributed work philosophy
  • Foster innovation and drive efficiencies within the HR and Payroll landscape
  • Time to recharge with our uncapped, flexible Paid Time-Off Program; we encourage Avantians to take at least 2 weeks off each year, although most of us take 3 to 5 weeks, in addition to the 11 locally recognized holidays and quarterly Mental Recharge Days
  • Avanti-provided technology and equipment for your home office setup
  • Avanti is a remote-first company, with Avantians living and working anywhere in Canada. A hybrid option will be available to Calgary-based employees.
