Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

Salary: $35 New Zealand Dollar per hour plus Relocation Package and Visa Sponsorship

About the client

I have teamed up with a prosperous restaurant brand in New Zealand. Due to their ongoing success, they are looking for a skilled Restaurant Manager who is passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alongside the General Manager, you will manage the day-to-day restaurant operations, including customer service and staff management
• Be an ambassador for the brand and build a great work environment for the team
• Exceed customer’s expectations by ensuring each restaurant service, function and event is delivered successfully and all guest queries are addressed and rectified in a prompt and efficient manor
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating restaurant staff to maintain a high level of service and professionalism. Ensure all team members are fully trained, supported, and equipped to do their jobs daily and maintain current knowledge of best practices in training and development
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and competition to continuously improve the restaurant’s services

The Ideal Restaurant Manager:

• A guest first mentality and collaborative approach with the team is paramount
• Passionate about providing a 5 Star Guest Experience
• 2 years’ experience in a comparable role, preferably in a full-service, high-volume venue
• Superb communication, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to build and lead a strong team
