Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will lead and own the Dandurand Groups sales efforts for the total province of Manitoba and all customers therein (Retail and On Premise). Top priority will be growing share at the #1 customer the Manitoba Liquor Board. The candidate will have 3 direct reports and will implement our global suppliers’ strategies to hit/exceed their objectives.


Role & Responsibilities


  • Grow Dandurand/Univins listing base to increase market share
  • Develop tools with the Customer Marketing and Brand Marketing departments to enhance our execution in store
  • Coach and develop 3 direct report(s)
  • Lead contact for building relationships and growing our business at the Manitoba Private Specialty Wine stores and key local On Premise operators
  • Manage forecast, account budgets and own key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Build and present category assortment plans using data-based analysis
  • Develop strong relationships with the Manitoba Liquor Board’s category managers, pricing and marketing departments
  • Build a calendar and activation plan for promotional programs with maximum ROI
  • Build and pitch creative in-store marketing activations to drive awareness and sell through of products
  • Lead contact at Dandurand for all interactions with the Manitoba Liquor Board for both the Dandurand and Univins Wine and Spirit divisions.
  • Responsible for revenue management and inventory planning/logistics


Ideal Qualifications

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • A passion for learning and sharing knowledge, both data oriented and qualitative
  • Leverage curiosity and effective inquiry to understand customer needs, problem solve with creativity, and influence without authority
  • Wine and spirits experience preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, and Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional time management
  • Own a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license


Education and Experiences

  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience managing Key Account relationships in the CPG/Beverage Alcohol industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, or equivalent
