We are currently seeking a Regional Director to join our team in Northern New Brunswick.
VIVA Therapeutic Services (formerly Autism Intervention Services) was founded by Danielle Pelletier in 2005, to provide preschool aged children with autism spectrum disorder and their families with high quality, evidence-based services. At VIVA, our programs are dedicated to providing quality intervention and making every teaching moment count. As a result of our programs’ success, we have gained our government’s confidence in our contracted services and currently serve nearly 700 families across the province of New Brunswick.
Our Regional Directors are highly-valued team members and leaders who oversee all clinical and administrative operations within a region. Regional Directors report to the VP of Strategic Development. The Northern region has a main regional office located in Beresford and satellite offices in Edmundston, Campbellton, Caraquet, and Miramichi.
Position Summary:
The Regional Director provides leadership to all regional VIVA employees. The Regional Director works collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, the VIVA Learning Team, the Human Resource Team, and other Regional Directors to ensure their teams meet clinical and administrative outcomes. The Regional Director provides support to their teams to maintain relationships with the families that we serve and our community partners. A key member of the VIVA leadership team, our Regional Directors promote our mission and values and guiding and monitoring service delivery in the Northern N.B. area. The Northern N.B. region provides services to approximately 115 clients and has approximately 65 employees.
This role will be accountable for:
• Meeting Contractual Outcomes and Implementing Service Standards
• Operational oversight for the Northern NB region
• Accountability for service delivery and performance outcomes
• Ensuring health and safety for employees and clients
• Participating in the development and implementation of strategic planning activities
• Leading people, creating a workplace culture where people thrive
• Linking with community partners to promote collaborative practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
Although we provide a clinical service, the Regional Director does not require direct education/experience in the field of Autism.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
Education and Experience:
• Bilingualism is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, written and spoken professional fluency in French and English is required.
• A master’s degree in business administration, psychology, speech-language pathology, education, occupational therapy and/or applied behaviour analysis.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience working in leadership roles.
• An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
• A clear criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and Social Development screening within the past five years.
• Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel is required.

• Adept and competent with technology and software applications including: Microsoft Office Suite and 365, data dashboard tools, manipulation of spreadsheets.
