The incumbent in this position will source, research, screen and interview candidates for high volume seasonal and year-round job openings. The Recruiter will make job offers and coordinate the on-boarding of successful candidates. They will act as a liaison between Business Units and Community/International partners to source and select the best candidates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as an expert on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations. Develop and network with diverse groups (Schools, Employment Agencies, World Placement Agencies, and Community Partners).
• Must be able to travel nationally & internationally
• Partner with business units; provide strategic recruiting services to maximize visibility; Maintain a solid understanding of business unit products, business drivers and strategies
• Organizes, books and attends job fairs and community/international events
• Partner with the Business Unit Leaders to execute a wider recruiting strategy, internally and externally.
• Utilize behavioral based interviewing techniques to assess candidates and present a short list of qualified candidates to Hiring Managers. Partners with Hiring Manager to interview candidates and make final hire decisions. Inputs resumes and candidate profiles, creates employment contracts and makes job offers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year recruitment experience or equivalent operating department experience on resort.
• Must be able to work at both onsite and satellite office location in Collingwood.
• Driver’s license and vehicle required
• Able to handle discreet situations confidently and professionally.
• Must be able to travel nationally & internationally.
• Sales mentality with an enthusiasm and passion for the resort.
• Must have strong networks within the Hospitality/Recreation or Recruitment industries.
