The Retail Supervisor is responsible for assisting Retail Management in implementing an integrated sales culture and guest experience focused environment. This includes responsibility for growing sales revenue, employee contribution, and the store’s overall net financial contribution. The Supervisor is responsible for effective training and coaching to maintain the best possible guest/employee experience while following SOP’s and the employee handbook. They will have managerial authority to make key non-strategic decisions quickly, when necessary, in the absence of the Store Manager.


Hourly Rate of $20.09


WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


  • Assist the leadership team executing various projects including but not limited to, full cycle promotional activities, annual inventory counts, and retention initiatives.
  • Implementation of an effective communication strategy that ensures all employee are informed of SOP’s, Weekly News, Sale Schedules, Business Strategies, and others. 8. Work with various suppliers of skis and bindings to become the product expert, and coordination of training and legal certification of our technicians.
  • Supervision of the Retail Sales Associate team; including managing the MOD checklist, ownership over support communication tools, onboarding initiatives such as IT asset management and resort orientation, training, performance management, refunds/returns, guest escalations, merchandise replenishment and daily work assignments.
  • Plan and schedule product knowledge sessions to ensure employee receive product training to enhance their selling skills.
  • Ensure retail employee regularly demonstrate the key parts of BMR’s retail selling practice (GUEST) Greet, Understand, Educate, Sell, Thank.
  • In conjunction with Store Manager, Inventory Coordinator and Buyer, discuss, plan, and implement required SOPs for the Retail Department.
  • Effectively communicates with vendors, front line, internal leadership as well as other departmental representatives.


WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?


  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous supervisory, training, coaching, and performance management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry considered an asset.
  • Experience handling money.
  • Excellent service recovery and conflict resolution skills to bring both guest and employee concerns to satisfactory closure.
  • Computer and POS skills required
