Position: Quality Assurance/System Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance/System Testing Specialist to join our public sector team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through comprehensive testing and defect identification. As a QA/Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regression testing of software applications.
• Participate in functional and technical design reviews, perform integration/functional and system testing, and verify test results.
• Collaborate with other project resources to resolve defects.
• Identify, document, and maintain a registry of software defects.
• Lead the development and review of quality assurance and control test plans, test scripts, and test data.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control testing methodologies, including test plan development, test script creation, and test data management.
• Level II Secret Clearance of higher issued by the Government of Canada
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Minimum of 48 months of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to identify, document, and maintain a registry of software defects.

Nice to Have:

• University degree or diploma in software, computer, systems, electrical engineering, computer science, information systems, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
• Experience with Military Command and Control Information Systems.
